Liberty City is a very different place in the 21st century. The most famous skyline in the world now belies a city gripped by fear and suspicion. In the shadow of an uncertain economy and the threat of terrorism, organized criminals, corrupt officials, and beleaguered security forces vie for supremacy in a city that is desperately trying to become a suburb. It is still a place where anything is possible, depending on how much of yourself you are prepared to sacrifice in the process.
Liberty City is the city of everything. The city of dreams, the city of opportunity, the city of freedom. Algonquin is the biggest skyline in America. Broker is the lead in hipsters and housing projects. Dukes holds the greatest American art museum (because that French place isn't in America, yet). And Bohan has the most East Coast gang territory. We're even proud of Alderney, even if they're an oily swamp a state over. Come live where people that have money thrive, and people that don't have money beg for it and die doing so.
Do you want to live in a city where American culture was BORN? Where you can be who you want to be? Where we're the city that peaked in high school, in a city with no high schools? Then Liberty City is the place for you! And all that hipster stuff that's infected places like Vinewood? Coffee with more chemically modified plant ingredients than our energy plants, bagels with weird vegetables nobody's heard of that taste rancid but you have to pretend to like them because it's "hip", and housing projects that could fall apart if you remove a part of the wallpaper, we know that stuff because WE INVENTED IT!
Liberty City --- Great to visit, even better to leave.
